Previews

How to read our previews

A preview brings together our first impressions of a demo or build we have played. It introduces the premise, mechanics and questions raised by that experience. The text refers to the version we tried: it is not a final assessment of the complete game, and systems, content and performance may change before release.

Open a card to see the publication, its author and its date. Search helps you find a game by name; sorting lets you browse recent impressions or revisit earlier ones. For a more developed opinion, also explore our full review catalogue. Previews and reviews serve different purposes, and keeping that distinction clear is part of our editorial transparency.
